Positions Available

Lift Operator - Help people get their skiing/snowboarding careers off the ground.  Powder Ridge is seeking individuals to assist in the courteous and safe transportation of our guests.  This is a front line position and essential to a great customer experience. Applicants must be friendly, customer service oriented, able to work in extreme weather conditions and be at least 18 years or older.

Snowmakers - Didn't anyone ever tell you that now you can fool with Mother Nature.  Snowmaking is a behind the scenes job that no ski area would survive without.  It is an art form all itself.  Crafting the elements of water and air into piles of white snow is critical to our survival. Applicants must be able to work with an elite team in extreme weather and be 18 years or older.

Rentals- Happy, helpful and friendly individuals are needed to fit ski/snowboard equipment for our guests. Individuals will be trained and certified. Must be personable and enjoy working with people all of ages.

Ticketing/Guest Services - Friendly, patient and honest individuals needed. Experience with computers useful but not necessary. Applicants must be able to handle a number of different transactions including rental packages, learn to ski or snowboard packages, lift tickets and lesson programs. Must be capable of learning our packages and willing to explain and guide our guests to the best package to fit their needs. Cashiers will deal directly with guests and will be working with a variety of tickets; handling payments by cash, credit card or vouchers. This position requires a person who is detail oriented and personable.

Ski/Snowboard Instructors- Experienced skiing or riding skills are helpful. We look for people who are good communicators and like to smile and laugh. Must be willing to service our guests' desires to learn a new sport or enhance their interest in improving their current level of ability. We want people willing to teach any ability level, beginner to advanced. Our program offers lesson for children ages 4 years and up so we seek staff that are versatile and able to communicate enthusiastically and effectively with young and old alike. We have a comprehensive training program and offer PSIA and ASSI certification, so if you are interested in learning to teach, we want to talk to you. Food Services/Cafe - Staff in this department need to work as a team and are responsible for food preparation, cooking and keeping the Lodge Cafeteria neat and tidy for our guests. Fast food background helpful but not necessary. Also seeking experienced Food Service Manager.

Restaurant/Bar - Bartenders, Cooks and Wait Staff needed to run the Powder Ridge Slopeside Pub.

Maintenance - Focuses on the technical aspects of the resort, maintaining our lifts, groomers, compressors, snowmaking systems and ski area facilities. We're looking for people with strong mechanical skills. Openings available in 1 st 2 nd and 3 rd shifts.

Snowtubing - The Powder Ridge Snowtubing Park seeks friendly, outgoing individuals who enjoy working outdoors and interacting directly with the public. Help operate the Snowtubing Park; the happiest spot on the mountain. Operation requires precise communication and team work to produce a safe, fun and exhilarating outing for all ages. Employees rotate through a series of positions throughout the day including, greeter, bottom and top attendants and launchers. If you like being apart of a team, communicate with others effectively and like to change things up throughout the course of a day, then the snowtubing park is the perfect position for you.

Park Ranger - Individuals with skiing/riding experience needed to maintain park features and patrol the park to ensure safety and promote fun skiing and riding.
